The Diagdoor manifesto
Our story began with a humanist, passionate doctor and an entrepreneur driven by purpose and equity.
It is also the story of a situation too many caregivers and patients know all too well: a complex case, the right skills available somewhere, but no simple way to bring them together.
We saw it every day in the field: medical expertise existed. It was immense. But it remained siloed, and far too dependent on circumstance.
Meanwhile, patients were waiting. Yet, to us, this was never inevitable.
Eight years ago, we founded Rofim on a simple conviction: expertise should flow freely.
Doctors, institutions, patients: we all stand to gain.
Together with doctors, we have designed tools to enable this exchange within a structured and secure framework: tele-expertise, remote multidisciplinary team meetings, and specialist-to-specialist consultations.
Step by step, we have built a network of over 2,000 institutions and 100,000 specialists, united by the same rigor and ethics.
Over the years, we have seen what collective intelligence can truly change: refined diagnoses, faster collaborative decisions, and clearer medical pathways.
Then a question became unavoidable. Why should this access to expertise remain limited to certain contexts or specific networks?
Diagdoor was born from this realization
From the very beginning, the patient has been the focus of our approach. It was time to make this access possible for them in a suitable environment, in coordination with healthcare professionals.
Diagdoor provides access to a specialized medical opinion based on a comprehensive analysis of a patient's file, within a structured, secure framework coordinated with those involved in the care pathway.
Not to replace the primary care physician, but to supplement, clarify, and secure the decision-making process.
To open up new possibilities and ensure that no one has to face an important medical decision alone.
But this time, with an added ambition: to facilitate access to this expertise for the benefit of patients, professionals, and stakeholders in the healthcare system.
